Why Anthropology: Problems

Human culture is a solution!

Understanding the ways that others have solved problems may help us solve some of our own.

But there are two traps:

It's romantic to think that the solutions to all our problems lie out there, discovered by others.

It's hubris to believe that no one has ever come up with better forms of society than our own.
