Is Cultural Relativism A Good Idea?

Cultural relativism sounds good, but are we to be relative about everything? 

Is slavery OK in other cultures?  Female circumcision? Human sacrifice? Genocide?

Cultural relativism isn't moral relativism. Anthropologists need to understand the contexts of cultural behavior but they don't have to approve of it.
