right to produce.
Thus, modes of production have ideological components.
These consist primarily of messages from the elite justifying and promoting the
social order.
Mainstream belief structure always promote conformity, assuring
populations that they live in the best of all possible societies and that they
will be rewarded appropriately for their labors...though often the promised
reward is in another world.
