Egalitarian, Rank and Stratified
It is
conventional to divide societies into these three categories:
Egalitarian: everyone has access to resources. The number
of positions equals the number of people to fill them.
Rank: Fewer positions than people available to fill them
however positions do not have effective control of resources of production.
Stratified: Few positions available and positions have
commanding access to resources of production.
